I've been pretty busy lately, so I haven't updated this as often as I should've. I think Professor Willis has been sick, or something, though--maybe she got all of our colds put together ( Read more... )

Neville, cheering up Colin and Ginny is wonderful. Of course you're doing something. :)

Thanks, Alicia. I've just been feeling a little more helpless than usual, is all. Wish I could do more to stop people from doing things like what happened to Colin, you know?

Alicia's right...making people laugh is very important right now. That's why we love the twins so much.

And your plants may not be flashy, but they are really important. What would we have done after the Chamber was opened if it hadn't been for Professor Sprout's mandrakes? =

Well, yeah, there are a lot of really useful plants, I can't deny that. :) It still sort of feels like I'm just fiddling around so that other people can do the important things, though. I mean, somehow I don't think a Mandrake Restorative Draught is You-Know-Who's secret weakness.

But you're right, quiet isn't the same as unimportant. Thanks.

Erm...maybe you can poiston someone? With plants, I mean. I've read about those. Dangerous plants. Like Venus Flytraps. If you could grow tham larger into Venus Mantraps (that you could control, of course)...wow!

Weell . . . the thing is, Professor Sprout doesn't cover the larger carnivorous plants until seventh year, and I'm not working quite that far ahead--things like Dragon Vine and Thorny Mansbane are really dangerous. Mostly because it's hard to get them to tell what isn't food. You can't really teach a plant to just go after Dark Wizards.

But thanks for thinking of me. :)

I don't know, Longbottom. You can never be sure when a full-bodied shrub might step in and save the day...I mean, who needs people who actually do things when you have a well-turned out garden?

You really have to show me all your flowers, plants and things! They sound really pretty. =D And Herbology is an important subject! it's flashy and can be of great importance, too. Loads of cures for curses and stuff come from plants. You're doing great Neville! i must take tips from you sometime. =)
