I despise hurricane Ivan. At first it was going to hit us directly, hence, scaring the shit out of me in my little apartment with no storm shutters. Then it veers perfectly to the side so as to cancel classes, and now, in it's final malicious taunting, it has decided to swerve off to the side, therefore allowing classes to continue their planned

I don't know in what respect your SOC class is trying you, but remember this: much of what you read in textbooks are the catchy concepts designed for weak intellects. A rational brain and a critical eye are what matters.

So basically, I should read the text book and then submit a 500 page correction to the writers... good idea. Oh, and I'm writing an essay on the superiority of Anaximenes' arche in comprison to his teacher Anaximander, aka, he who lack empiricism.
