I see that this weather seems to show no signs of letting up any time soon. Though, I also wouldn't be too surprised if during the moment after such a thing was said that the weather suddenly cleared up.

One finds themselves wondering how long it can truly last.

honestly this tag is just here, did i just see an ark float by?, there's no floating house, the weather may be bad but

Really, well. Few can, actually- granted, you don't see a lot of attempts.

It's understandable, really. It's not something that has much benefit.

As much as we complain about the random acts, we would also be lamenting the mundane if it wasn't so interesting.

I'd like it to go away so that people would stop simpering and scrambling around. And complaining about the lack of power. Haven't humans been living with nature for over a couple thousand years? One would assume they'd get used to this sort of thing.

After living with such luxuries for a while, one finds themselves expecting such a thing and when it is taken away from them, they find they do not know how to function.

As the old saying goes 'expect the unexpected.' However, such a thing usually is only good in theory, not practice.

Because of erosion, correct? ♥

That is certainly correct. [smiles] Over time, erosion will wear away at everything. It's one of the few things that equalizes all.
