After an AMAZING week in Italy, I'm already excited to plan my next trip or two! Our Spring Break is April 11-20, and we've got a couple long weekends that can be filled with amazing trips as well, but now I just have to figure out where I want to go next! I've narrowed it down to 5 places I'd like to go, and I know more about some than others. Of ( Read more... )

Personally, I feel like I'd have to do the list like this:

1. Greece - I'm a huge fan of mythology and it's the Greeks!
2. Ireland/Scotland/England - again for all the history and castles!
3. Tuscany - b/c it's beautiful, at least in movies
4. Munich/Innsbruck/Vienna - isn't Vienna where you can ride gondolas?
5. Belgium/Luxembourg - b/c all I know about Belgium is they make waffles. lol.

I don't know if that was helpful at all. :)

Ha, actually Venice is where you do the gondolas :) Vienna is home to the [obviously] Viennese Waltz (yay!) and apparently cheap, good operas! Plus I hear it's beautiful--says every person I've talked to that's been.

I would def. go to Greece first (I like learning about it in Latin), Then Munich, then Tuscany, Belgium, Ireland. I wouldn't really have much of a preference after Greece though!

my personal opinion, well, I'm IN LOVE with Tuscany. The vineyards, the people, everything about it. I really want to visit San Biagio in Montepulciano. Next in line would be Greece, b/c I adore the history (and if you like black licorice, then they've got the liquor for you, lol). And I guess third would be Vienna b/c opera is what life's about, though I'd also like to mention you can see operas in Florence in Tuscany, but I don't know if that would be cheap or not

Yeah, I definitely hear ya. And a new friend of mine who's lived in Rome for years now said they're more expensive in Italy in general..not sure regionally Plus, from the place I'd be staying in in Tuscany, I'm not sure how far away it'd be.
