oh,I have many mothers at preschool in your shoes. I love my sleep i couldn't even imagine how hard it must be for you to be missing out on so much of it. You seem interested in child development. I would like to reccomend to you a book by Laura E Berk,Child Development (6th Edition). It's such a fascinating book about children from birth until 12 which im sure you would get so much out of. *i know ur probobly really busy and don't get much spare time* but if you do get a chance to go to the library i'd definately reccomend it. :)
Thanks so much for that, I will definatley have a look at the book, I ant to do everything I can to help Charlotte develop well & to stimulate her brain.
So do the mother that come to your preschool tell you about how tiered & alone they feel?
Tell her to get as much sleep as she can now, also that breastfeeding can be hard because you have to teach the baby to do it while you learn yourself but you get the hang of it eventually.
If you are there for her for a few weeks after the birth to cook her some dinner or do a little cleaning or washing then that's probably one of the best things you can do for her.
Tell her it can be overwhelming at times, especially at first but that it DOES get better.
I will tell her. I'll definately be there on call for the 1st 3 months - she already made that one clear ;) heh. Although, it is no obligation on my behalf.. I love children and I love my sister.
