Recently, I've been really enjoying using my camera again. I took a basic digital photography class spring quarter this year, and I learned a ton. Before I basically just had an eye for cool pictures, and now I really know what goes into making a picture great. That first one is great and I think it came out the best of the bunch :D

My biggest problem with the auto-HDR programs is that they leave the glow around objects (most prevelant in Through the Trees) Moving objects are a problem, too, like with the clouds. Though, maybe you could bracket the shot with multiple back-to-back exposures that may take less time and lessen the blur effect it has?

By the way, Ken Rockwell shoots nearly everything on auto mode. :)

The new version of Photomatix has a feature that really reduces the ghosting that happens when an object moves through the exposures. The boat in the first one, for example, was moving.
