i really need to get out of this house. everything here is driving me insane. i am so ready to go back to school it's ridiculous. i don't know how i spent 17 years living in this house without having a mental breakdown. seriously.

I've been noticing lately that there are a lot of things that I will ABSOLUTELY POSITUTELY NOT MISS about living at home. First, my parents, while being awesome, can be a little... clingy. And that's not good in any relationship. Second, I have to ask permission to go places with friends. That's just an annoying waste of time, and furthermore is a result of the first point. Third, my relatives are insane and difficult to escape. Being several states removed from them will do me loads of good.

i'm going to have been gone for so long i wonder what my parents will have converted my room into by the time i finally go home again. I agree though, after being independant at college it drives me nuts to have to go back and then be subjected to rules like i'm still in high school. my parents are pretty good about not being too overbearing but still....
