Tonight, while trying to plan our Hanukkah vacation, some friends and I came up with a wonderful set of tourist destinations for the next Jewish calendar year.

I think Shiraz has a sizeable Jewish community remaining. Otherwise, you could just go to LA for Purim - same Persian Jewish community, with better access to boot!

But, um, that's not the point. If I wanted to spend time with the communities of the holidays in question it would be silly to go to Greece, Rome, Egypt, etc. I was just talking about the geographic locations, obviously.

Hanukkah in Athens was great, bytheby.
