Raspberry Pi - Some thoughts

So after all the hype and the frankly farcical initial supply rush, I have sat here on my desk a Raspberry Pi computer. I can't imagine there's anyone reading this who doesn't know what that is, but just in case, it's a $35 computer the size of a credit card. How do you forsee the TOR / Router bridge working? The single LAN port on the Pi seems a stumbling block for me for most of my routing projects (I've yet to find an USB-Ethernet adapter that doesn't suck and give poor throughput and significant packet loss - feel free to suggest one).

My local dump is full of CRT monitors, which I'd guess 90% of work. Are these community organisations struggling to find computer equipment, or does the use of the Pi pose other advantages, like the fact that they already have TV sets?

Fair enough. I'm glad to hear that they're making such things easier. I'm also impressed that they're sourcing enough of them with the limited supply at the moment. Do you know what sort of kids are going to these things ( ... )
