[Those cameras are pretty good at capturing just the right moments on film.

Like, for example Yukino shrieking and throwing her Ken doll of her boyfriend Arima across the room. It hits the wall, and there's a sharp crack of plastic - a sound that's a little too gruesome for a doll ( Read more... )

event, yukino - doll murderer, life in plastic's not so fantastic, arima, girly shrieking, death #1, doll event, she should've used the trebuchet

It...was Arima, anyway. [Awkward.]

It was just a fake.

Mm. You know, I was just thinking about that before it started trying to cut me in half with a pencil. It was a cute toy and all, but it made me miss the real Arima...

...It's almost like it got jealous, I guess.

I suggest super glue.

That would probably work.

[Pause] I...don't know if that's a good idea though. Just before this, he was hitting me with a pencil like it was a kendo sword.

Yeah, it really was. I mean, it didn't hurt really, but it left a mark. And it would be bad if I put him back together and he found a pair of scissors or something.

[ Oh hey it's you with the trebuchet and such.

Alex has a lovely red graze on his cheek from his own doll tussle, though fortunately he managed to avoid a dusting. ]

It wasn't alive. It was just a mansion thing.

[ He mostly sounds decisive, though behind his words there's an unspoken right? I didn't just make some horrible mistake? ]

[Oh hey, it's you! The guy she threw a back of knives at!]

...Mm. Right. I don't really know much about magical things, so I wasn't really sure. But I guess that sounds kind of ridiculous. I mean, they're still just dolls, even if they move...

Wait, are you okay? [She points at her own cheek, drawing a line with her finger to mirror where his mark is.] Did your doll do that?

[ Throwing sharp things around: a true friendship-forging experience!

Alex's fingers go to the mark, then twitch away again. It's still raw. ]

Yeah. She - it freaked out on me.

[ It had sharp corners, all right? ]

You okay?

[Clearly they're meant to be best friends forever now! Friiiiendship!]

I'm fine - it was only hitting me with a pencil, but it scared me a little. Mine freaked out too though.

[She shows her forearm to the camera, and there's a small, thin red mark on it - like she was repeatedly hit with something pencil-shaped. That's what happens when you get a doll of the best high school-level kendo student in the nation.]

I'm sorry you got hurt though by yours though. Did you have to break it?

You should have used the trebuchet.

You know, you're right; I really should have. That would have been amazing. I would have been able to throw it across the room with much more force.
