Okay, normally I would say that this is a little soon but uh. Ronan's rapidly become my spammer and so, I think he has enough to talk about first impressions and the like.

So! Comment away and I'll explain his first impressions of everyone. This is just for Ronan, because the others don't have first impressions anymore.

800 comments what?

o jaime.

This sounds so repetitive but Jaime's situation does ping Ronan hard. It's not just the whole having superpowered cosmic energy attached to you, but it's the idea that it changes you, subtlely and grossly, and people just don't understand that. People at camp can pick up on it, but they don't really understand what it's like to have it in there. This is the same in Ronan's world too, and so he's adjusted to the idea of being alone. So on the one hand it's nice to have someone around who knows what it's like to be in his situation. On the other hand, Ronan feels kind of bad about this because unlike the Scarab, the Defender isn't a killing machine. Jaime's having to fight the Scarab all the time, whereas Ronan only has to fight the Defender on one real issue -- surrendering entirely and allowing the Defender to have access to its full power. So he feels almost guilty that he feels this kinship with Jaime because it's not the same and Jaime's is infinitely worse. Jaime's was an invasion, whereas Ronan's was something he ( ... )

and by this I mean that if it really, truly came down to a situation where he'd have to pick sides (and I doubt it would happen, at least for the reasons Ronan thinks it would, so this is COMPLETELY HYPOTHETICAL), he would choose Ronan's. he couldn't really associate, let alone live with people who were openly passing judgment on Ronan for nothing other than TWD. it hits way too close to home, and he couldn't trust anyone exhibiting that kind of double-standard.

Well they've only had one conversation, but it was an unexpectedly long one which is still going. So, Ronan on Rose?
