I first went to a technically biased, not quite proper, university. I spent two summers retaking maths exams. I did a tech subject because my writing was painfully slow.

I get that too, from time to time, about my 'peers'... but in the end, I think of where I am (personally) and where they seem to be, and I've been enjoying more, creating more, and thinking on a different level than they are right now, and I much prefer this path. It seems slow, or backwards, or marginalized sometimes, but don't forget to trust yourself to do what's right for you. Screw the rest of them!

I would love to. Right now I'm thinking locally, like MN, but when I graduate I want to wwoof in India.
You should seriously come hang out with me in Guatemala this summer. You would LOVE it. I'm going to take some language classes and then travel around with my sis and some friends, and I know you'd like them too. Omg do it!

Oh man I would totally do that! Guatemala is actually a place of particular interest to me, for a year or so now. I'm just trying to stay afloat right now and not end up on the streets. But who knows, come June/July maybe I'll have some more money saved up!
