Spotters Directives and F.A.Q. - Draft

Aug 24, 2009 01:02

Slightly improved way of getting closer towards improving the overall spotting level up (it is a rewrite of my previous idea + the paragraphes that I did not released yet):

YEAH, a PDF file (1+ MB due of unoptimized photos).

Give me some feedback on it since the more detailed the better.

Good Job Tobias!

The one thing I doubt is the 'Video or photo registration'
As a general rule I would advice not to shoot pictures or video recordings if you 're a spotter, especially not in crowded situations were permanent attention is required. I learned this the hard way.

B.t.w. I happened to know that Kaelin is working on a spotters guide too. Maybe you can share some ideas....

Good point, however if you are just spotting for one spotter and you take a picture/video you still have him in view and using a (Ultra) Wide Angle you still are close enough to take actions. But on the other hand it all depends on the situation.

And I will drop a line to Kealin after EF since I doubt I will be able to contact him before.
