I"m slightly confused about whether or not we can claim two things. Can I have this and if, by the time sign up are about to close, if no one has claimed the other one I want, can I claim it as well and write two?

Feel free to claim more than one fairy tale. Just keep in mind that each fairy tale can only be claimed once, so you should probably try to snag only the ones you really think you'll be able to finish.
