Finally crochet pictures! Apologies in advance for out of focus pics; the current excuse is that my camera runs out of batteries so fast that I tried to rush things in the fading afternoon light. Oh well, some of them are ok. It just means my crochet is even more awesome in real life.

So much crochet! )

Those are all so beautiful! I'm in awe of your patience in working on the big projects. I've never been able to stick with something bigger than a baby blanket.

Small Monstrous Seahorse FTW! <3

Thanks! =)
I find it kind of comforting to have a big project to work on each day. It feels like I'm accomplishing something, even if it's just a small part. Although there are definitely days when it is frustrating to see how much is still left to do. After I finish this afghan, I'll probably work on several smaller projects again.

Small Monstrous Seahorse is super cute. Everyone I showed it to wanted one of their own. That's probably one of the small projects I'll do after the afghan, so when I finish that, if you want a small monstrous seahorse, you should say so.

Having a big project to work on is nice. I've felt that way with some of the sweaters I've done. I always feel a bit lost when I finish it and am left going "now what?"

I would love a small monstrous seahorse and would totally be willing to trade you for a tonberry or something else you'd like :D

Wow, those are gorgeous! Could you direct me to the pattern for the fan afghan? And that star thingy?

I really want to learn to crochet now!

Whoa, sorry for seeing this comment so late! I didn't have email announcements turned on, and I hope you do, because here's the info you requested! =)

Here's where you can get the fan afghan pattern:

And here is one for the star hotpad:

Hee, yup, I have e-mail announcements turned on :)

I like your color scheme for the Star hotpad SO much better! Thanks :)

But I think I meant the pointy, 3-D star thingy... although I wouldn't mind trying the hotpad, either :)

Oh! ok, let me look for that one...
Here it is:

I mostly find patterns by just Google image searching 'crochet' every few months to see if there's anything new and amazing.
