So after thinking I wouldn't go at all, I've now been to the Body Worlds exhibit in Chicago twice.  This time I payed for the audio guide, which was cool, although the guy was British and kept putting the emphasis on the wrong syllable.  For Americans, at least.

I don't feel any older, this year.  I actually feel kinda young...people in my class asked me how old I turned, and when I told them they were like "only?"...maybe it's just that I seem to have surrounded myself with people older than I am.  The only time I feel old is when I go to guard to teach.  They're like, 10 years younger than I am.

It seems the Oral Surgery Diet has really been a success. I have now had two more people ask me if I've lost weight, in addition to the one a week ago and my dad agreeing with that when I told him the story. All I can attribute it to is that I seriously ate about half my normal calories for a week after I got my wisdom teeth out, and while I have ( Read more... )

It may actually be possible, I may really melt.  It's so hot.  Walking to school is equivalent to spending time in a sauna, fully dressed.  Then, of course, sitting in class is like being in the freezer.  So it's more like I'm going to alternately melt and then freeze.
