thatnks, i thought you'd like the one with the ocean and the flowers combined. there are a few more in my photobucket account (my photos on the left side bar). once i get ink i'll print them off and you can have a copy. or if you want tomorrow evening robin is working so i have nothing to do from 7pm on after work so you cna come out and look at the rest and i'll burn you a cd with some of them
yeah that one was my favorite actually. rest....jesus christ james I wish I had time to rest. I don't even have time to think about rest. Everytime I drive home I think shit must go get season 2 of scrubs must return season one....crap when in the hell do I have time for that?
when i said rest i ment look at the rest of the photos i've taken. hehe. you really should let your brain have a few hours off by the looks of it i saw a copy of the dante club today and thought of you nad that group project for todd's class
Yeah they're pretty sweet. The one with the flower overlay is interesting. Is this a bad time to bring up you were bashing Nikon's when I was about to buy my d50? hah.
yeah i know i was bashing nikon but the dslr range is limited and the d80 won over the sony, pentax and canon competition. I still think the cameras are ugly looking though. how's the d50 treating you anyway?
It's great man, I'm learning a lot about hobbiest photography I didn't know about before and I have plenty opportunities to use it here in Cairo. My final decision on the d50 came from actually holding it and several other cameras, a canon and an olympus in similar price ranges, and finding the d50 by far the most comfortable for me. Maybe my hands are big or something.
The biggest difference for me comes in having a fast digital image sensor and processor, point and shoot cameras are too freaking slow. I also noticed that the image compression on the d50 is so good, extremely high resolution shots take up only a fraction of the file size that a similar size shot would on a high end canon point and shoot. I'm dying for a better lens, mine is simply not good enough now that I'm out making use of it.
yeah, the d50 is an amazing camera for the price. general concenes is that its better image quality than the d70. i never thought to compare file sizes in my research but i know with the d80 even the raw files aren't as massive as you think for a 10MP cam. i also don't really need to care that much because japan camera gave me 50% OFF A 2GB card then i got it
i don't know if you can find one or not in egypt but the nikon 18-200mm VR lens is supposed to be incredible image quality for an 11x zoom lens. but it also costs like $800 and is really hard to find because its so popular. you could also try the 18-135 i have, its only about 400 and should be easier to find. i'm pleased with its preformance other than i miss the longer zoom my panisonic had. cheaper options would be to look into sigma and tamron lenses. there is a 70-300 tameron that is identical design to the nikon equivalent and is noticably cheaper. cheapest option to extend your zoom would be the 55-200mm
