There's a huge point to it. I didn't make my journal for the world to read, nor did I make it to "make friends". I made it so that I can get stuff out. The people who are on my "friends" list are my best friends and I let my best friends know what goes on in my life. I don't want anyone and everyone knowing what goes on in my life, therefore I only let the people who I don't mind knowing read it.
