I LOVED this! At first it seems like a typical, "Crowley, you bastard" scene (and I'm one to talk, I have written Crowley eating mice) but then I had my suspicions, which were confirmed by the sight of the four funnels! Ha, Crowley does a good deed and saves a young couple's lives, but justifies it to himself anyway, trying to preserve that 'I'm a big bad demon' crap; there's that spark of good, trying to hide behind a veneer of evil, and it is so Crowley I literally went, "Awww!" at it.
Awesome fic! To the Memories it goes!

Aww thank you, I'm glad you liked it. He really does try so hard to hide that spark of goodness, but it'll pop out regardless.

Yes, you really got him down pat. I'm re-reading The Book now and your fic came to mind a few times. ;)

Still a bad deed. He's doing it because...dead people are no fun? He can wrangle something out of Aziraphale in exchange? Individual tempting sucks in general?
Course it all comes down to the fact that he really likes people and Aziraphale giving him that little "really, dear" smile.
In summary, I am amused. HE'S SO CUTE.
