I think the wine idea is fine. Maybe print out the recipe on nice paper and tie it to the neck of the bottle with a ribbon. As far as dads, maybe go to costco and get him a big book on cars or gardening or anything else he might be into?

Don't bring alcohol... not even for yourself. Just a bad idea. It won't be that bad. My parents really do like you, and both mom and dad enjoy a good chocolate. Dad doesn't really drink, anyways, and Mom might freak out that you are not 21 and yet are providing alcohol. Find a nice box of chocolates (or make some, if you're that anxious), and all will be fine.

I love you and miss you a bunch! Can't wait to see you! :-*

I just made truffles the other day, go off really well, and can be impressive but honestly really simple to make.

another thought: why do you think they kept trying to take us out for dinner while we're at school? They want to get to know you! You make me happy and THEY LIKE YOU! You'll be fine.

I adore you M. Kulkin. As much as there have been some negative sides to it for you, your introspection really holds such great potential for unlocking the many great gifts our God has given you.....otherwise said as : you're swell.

Well... you know what I think about Kipling. I would also recommend Milton if you want to learn about long poems. I am reading Paradise Lost right now and am finding it decidedly awesome. He is very classically influenced, however, and I can't help but imagining some parts of Paradise Lost to be very much like what the Iliad might be if it were in English. Also bear in mind that the structure of Milton's verse is very complex, to the point that I have yet to attempt emulating it. The verse of Kipling is simpler and almost always heavily rhythmic and rhymed. As a writer, I find him much easier to learn from. I will confess that most of my verse is either influenced by or a blatant attempt to parrot Kipling's style.
