many things are racing through my mind tonight, or rather should I say this morning. I find myself unable to sleep once again, and I am attempting to find out why. Here's what's going on

years are going to come and go regardless, and what is important is that you keep your head and heart in the right place, beyond that all else is secondary (perhaps even tertiary or further). With them in place all else follows anmd can be made fruitful. If you want to you can be an amazing lawyer and do a lot of good (and that means something from a border-line anarchist with strange feelings towards US legal system, as we have discussed) You are intelligent, insightful, and more importantly a wonderfully personable individual.
avoiding ranting I say, we should find some time to talk soon, don't want to lose touch.

I'm a strange-duck breed of anarchist that, aside from holding anarchy as a virtually unattainable goal, believe that the best way toward that end is, in a relatively free-will-ish sort of way making governement so huge (and people-centric) that it essentially ceases to exist. In the mean-time, if I am to accept any governmental form whatsoever, socialism, appropriately executed, makes better practical sense than most others and is by leaps and bounds preferable to Capitalism. (my anarchy is more of an theological/ethical theory than s political affiliation)

But... Socialism as I understand it implies that there is a mechanism other than the free market by which wealth is distributed. If such a mechanism exists, this can be called a government. If such a mechanism does not exist than we have anarchy

2. And you get to see me! Pretty nifty, huh? Huh? 3. Yeah... that blows. I'm always the one in the room who just says "Yeah, I'm from New Hampshire. When I was a kid, I lived in a town where the two major industries were logging and dairy farming." I tend to just laugh it off, but the perception of my home state as being full of dumb people is irritating, and then there's the money thing. Never mind that as a state NH has a really high mean income... it's fairly spread out, so there are only a few areas that are considered high-status. 4. Every time I see those commercials I think of you! Much happiness.
Hey Toddwick, good to hear from you! :) Hang in there, and I'm sure things will turn out well whatever you decide is your favorite thing to do, whether that's being a lawyer or something completely different. All the best and hope to hear more soon about your goings-on! Miss you and Katie!
