Goddammit. Things are not doing well. I applied for some Americorps positions (one that I really, really wanted through the Center for Humanities) hoping that this would justify being rejected from grad schools as a great opportunity. I was in the top two for the one I really wanted. Is that supposed to make me feel better? And I checked around

United Council will be opening up all of thier positions this summer... if you're interested in doing any non-profit work, you should check them out.

They also help you pay back your student loans, so that's something.

So yeah, if you enjoy grassroots organizing at all, that's cool. :)
