Eeek, thats why I like to travel with someone else, at least you don't go through all that stuff on your own.

it was pretty okay. i was too tired to go for dinner so they let my sister bring up a tray of food for me; i thought that was so nice! :)

Ah I am so with you on hating long flights. I suppose afrer doing the switzerland - nz route a couple of times (often ends up being 40 hours of travelling) where you see 5 airports I think I got a little more used to it but it still sucks.

Wow that's good luck about your hotel. I hope the rest of your trip went a bit smoother!

wow, five airports - i think that many transfers would easily make me feel crazy.
