Yeah, I'm trying to spread the word as best I can. I understand that some people want sympathize and want to "help" in some way, but people should think about the messages their art/fics send. Writing and Art are mediums of communication, and it's important to make sure that you're not sending the wrong message.

It kind of makes me wince when people post pictures of anime characters carrying WWII military Japanese flags and standing in water or pictures of themselves with the Japanese flag shopped over them and claim that those are "showing respect for the tsunami in Japan." There's better ways one could illustrate one's feelings about this terrible event.

I had an argument with a girl today who insisted that a Sengoku Basara fanart picture she had drawn that fell under that category was "serious and not making fun of the situation at all" because she used Times New Roman as a font for all the dialogue in it.

And people ask me why I'm an alcoholic. D :
