In which Tofu is exposed as an elitest showa fuck
The one that was your first: KAMEN TROLLFACE V3. NO REALLY. It played on Hawaii's KIKU channel, so I'd catch it whenever it was on after Seven Duels or Kikaida 01 or whatever. To this day, I can only remember the lyrics to V3's theme song. Not anyone elses'.
The one with the best theme song: WAKE UP! THE HERO! MOE AGARE! WAKE UP! THE HERO! TAIYOUUUUUYOUUUU!

The one that made you laugh the most: Faiz Hyper Battle Den-O while drunk Tie between original Kamen Rider's QUALITY and Kamen Rider Stronger's bullshit. Holy jesus I have never loled so hard in my life.
The one that made you cry the most: Faiz. I cried bitch man tears, man. That's what I get for watching the ending and the movie back-to-back.
The one that surprised you: KR Agito. I seriously thought I was not going to finish it, since it didn't stand out that much compared to the other flashy seasons, but after some bros back home recommended it, I checked it out and ended up loving the hell out of it. I think it's the little details--Hikawa, the monster design, the themes--that really ended up making me like it. AND HERE'S WHERE HALF MY FLIST DEFRIENDS ME OTL
The one that didn't meet your expectations: W. I think it's because I came into it expecting awesome detective times, and I was all hype for the monsters and the nods to Shotaro Ishinomori the man himself--and then I don't know, I cooled on it really fast and it seemed to seesaw back and forth between what it wanted to be as a show. AND THIS IS WHERE THE OTHER HALF OF MY FLIST DEFRIENDS ME FFFFFF
The one with the best relationship: OOO's relationships between characters seemed interesting to me. It seemed to be a very "personal" show in the sense that even though there was all this alchemy fuckery and monsters-possibly-taking-over-the-world, the real crisis seemed to center around the connections between Ankh, Hina, and Eiji. In fact, it almost felt like it was just as much Hina's story about her wishes as well as Eiji's fight against the Greeeed.
And okay, if we're talking shipwise, I like stuff like Hoppers and Yuusuke/Daiki** and Takumi/Mari and blah dee blah blah D :
The one with the best fight scenes/action: I'm a big fat nerd for Kamen Rider Super-1's traditional Karate leanings, as well as KR Kabuto's choreography. Personally, I do like seeing what each Rider's "fight style" is, and how the stuntman interprets that in each new season. Right now, I'm personally liking Fourze's bosuzoku thuggish style!
The one with the best suit design/transformation scenes: It's a solid tie between KR BLACK, KR Gattack, Kuuga Mighty Form, and KR G3-X for me suitwise. Transformation-wise, I'd have to say the original Riders 1 + 2, KR Black, Kabuto, and UCHUUUUU KITAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~! Shin gets an honorable mention for his fucking gross-yet-awesome henshin.
The one that you compare all the others to: Kamen Rider Kabuto. That particular season isn't my favorite, and sometimes the plot trips on itself, but I consider that a solid introductory-sort of season for people just getting into KR who don't want to watch stuff that's older than anything before the year 2002. Usually, though, I try to watch every season as if it stood alone.
