So I'm still trying to find my passion and purpose in life. There is this new book out called "Nickled and Dimed: On (Not) Getting by in America" or something like that. The author spoke at UH a couple weeks ago but I found out too late

Have you ever tried waitressing in waikiki? You can make mad cash!! I did it on and off for a while when I was younger...better yet and if you don't mind the bus ride..there is a 5 star military restaurant called Sam Sneds and they pay 9.08 starting on days, with an average of 60 in tips a day (at lunch). and like 40 to 80 at dinner, unless you get a party then you get mad cash at lunch. You usually work for like 4 hours max unless you open. I worked there for a bit..but I quit when I had my kidney surgery. I was only there a month if that, but I tell ya what I mad some cash, just in my checks alone and they are ALWAYS hiring!!!!!! I made like 130 for working 2 days training.
