Dramatic changes in eating render my body unable to process french fries

So dramatically have I changed my eating, concentrating on fresh, organic foods, that my body doesn't process french fries very well anymore. Yesterday at lunch I shared some greasy fries with a coworker and I felt sick to my stomach for 12 hours afterwards ( Read more... )

Yes I know the feeling, my body does not process greese very well anymore, I have been eatting whole grains and stuff for over a year now and well, mc d's and so on, do not sit well in my body. I wish I could eat things like rice and bread without guilt. I am so robotic when it comes to cutting carbs I feel emense guilt at sticking anything carb packed into my mouth. The thing is half the stuff I eat is ok for me,because it doesn't contain sugar, processed flour, or potatoes etc etc. Keep up the good work. Eatting right really does make you feel 100 times better, it just takes getting used to. I used to hate alot of the stuff I love now, like whole wheat flour(I only use that no white flour), celery, grapefruits(practiclly the only fruit I will eat without guilt) and cottage cheese. Good going, and splurging sometimes is ok in small amounts:) aloha

The simple reason for your being sick, is because McDonalds is poison. It's not even food; worse than twinkies. I'm not a health nut, but I do watch my cholesterol and fat intake, trying to keep away from processed foods [But still fall prey to Velveeta and pasta once in awhile.]. Since I've been keeping an eye on certain foods, I feel more optomistic. Not so much more energetic, just... like there's something better on the horizon and I want to go get it. It's hard to explain. :) Congrats on your progress, keep me posted. I might end up doing the whole "Organics" thing as well. :)
