Electric Beach

Howie and I went snorkeling on the west side of the island this weekend. There is an electrical power plant perched right on the beach and underwater pipes release warm water into the ocean and it attracts lots of fish. I love that side of the island. I grew up in Waipahu so the west coast was my beach area for years....I like trax or electric beach, but I love MAKAHA beach. I actually saw a tiger shark there many years ago and the story goes it was there for years and the surfers used to see it in the waves and it never attacked anyone...there are so many things to feed on out there, I wouldn't be too afraid if I saw a shark. I love Waianae coast. Anyway I hope all is well with you...I am having a bit of a jacked week, I'll explain in my upcoming post. Aloha!

One more question - Makaha beach is a very local beach, so is it safe for white girls?
