for those interested in improving the ability to pee standing up (for whatever myriad of reasons), read on & share with others!

Freedom to pee:

Hey there -

My apologies for the mass mailing, and also because I'm encouraging you to buy something. But it's a very useful something, and I think it's relavant, to you or to some of your lovers or friends.

Anyone born with a female body should take a look at one of these pStyle things (http://kristascups.com/pstyle). If you weren't born with a female body, consider telling your friends who were, especially trans men and active women.

The pStyle is a single smooth piece of plastic that doesn't require folding (nor spindling or mutilating), shaving, creative postures over the toilet, months practicing in the shower, or huge amounts of luck in order to pee with comfort, standing up. No more worry about dirty toilet seats, empty toilet paper rolls, or even lack of facilities- you can pee anywhere a biological guy could. You could learn to write your name in the snow. You could even, if you had a clever pocket that would hold it securely, pee safely in the urinal of a dark gay bar in Mexico and have nobody guess you're using a device. (Which I've done, though it helps to wait until nobody's looking to shake it off and put it away.) I sent one with a trans friend on his trip to Guatemala, so he could pee safely and maintain his gender identity.

I'm a very big fan; the problem has been that there was nowhere local to buy one. Olympia and Portland have stores that sell them, but no place in Seattle. I had to go online to order, pay shipping, wait... I wound up needing to do this twice, because I lost my first one. (They're not expensive, I was just annoyed at the wait.)

Now Krista of Kristascups.com tells me that Babeland in Seattle is finally testing the product to see if it sells. For several years, they resisted, saying that they only sell things that relate to sexual health; but being able to pee safely and cleanly affects my sexual health a great deal.

I want to support Babeland for encouraging the urinary health of both women and transmen. If you have any interest, or know trans men or women who'd like to be able to pee standing, have them check it out. http://kristascups.com/pstyle tells you more about it.

I'm very, very satisfied with mine. Which is good -- the bathrooms here in Mexico tend to be pretty vile.

Ciao,

--Sol
