don't you think it's healthy for certain people to have some sort of faith/spiritual belief for after they die? and it's possible to believe in god and evolution.

i dont think its fucking healthy. its not going to matter any ways because when you are dead you are just dead. your spirit doesn't float up to heaven because there isn't one and without a heaven there is no hell so you can't go there either. i believe in evolution. if there was a god. i would hate it, him, her, whatever you want to call it. i don't see how that would be healthy. its not un healthy but its not healthy. you can belive in god if you want but its not real. its jut false hope. just like santa. parents tell their children that he is real so they have some false hope. they lie to their children about santa clause existing. and all that bullshit about jesus turning water into wine and the guy parting the sea. never happened. lies. its all bullshit. jesus was just the son of an ordinary woman and he was a petty carpenter and a poor man who people accused of stupid shit and killed him on a cross just like all the other criminals. jesus was a terrorist.

is there any particular reason you're so worked up about this? you know there's more religions than one where a spirit floats up to heaven or hell. not all religions focus around jesus. some people need the comfort and confidence religion provides them so they can live their life. it may be 'false hope' but it's working for most the population. spirituality is a good thing and it doesn't have to come from religion. more people need to be in touch with their minds and bodies and if religion is working for some people, more power to them. as for the santa claus analogy, what kind of false hope do you think it brings kids? it doesn't comfort them like religion does people so i don't know exactly what you're talking about. plus, kids continue to get gifts even after they know santa isn't real.. so it's not really that false.
I agree with what sadie said, and also, it's really none of your business what other people believe, even if it does go against what you do, because it doesn't really have anything to do with you.
If people want to believe they will go to heaven when they die, then let them. What is it hurting you?
Unless people are actually hurting other people trying to convert them or some shit, it's got nothing to do with you.
