I can see now why there’s an entire job dedicated to mapping out the wilderness. I don’t know how long I was stuck in there, but I’m back now, and I’ve found my journal.
Have the people who forgot things again...remembered them? I know everyone forgets, but is it normal here to forget things again?
Seven, if you’re able, I’d like to speak with
back from the wilderness,
journal

As far as I am aware, the new memory loss effects do not persist. It happened once earlier this month, and the people recovered in a few days.

That's good to know. I met someone here before who thought we might be from the same place, but the last time we talked, he didn't even remember meeting me. So that isn't a normal thing here that you know of?

I'm told there are often inexplicable, but temporary, events that seem to come out of nowhere. I believe the memory loss some are experiencing is another such event.

That's what I'd heard too, but memory loss in a place that takes away our memory seemed pretty weird, all things considered.

...it isn't normal for us to forget again at random.

That's a relief.

Here's hoping it's temporary.

Mmm, from the sounds of it, people are regaining their memories. At least, the ones from here.

Pretty sure it's not. It's come back, at least.

Good, that's the last thing we need in a place like this.

Bad enough for it to happen once.
