Glad to hear how well everything has gone with you! Sorry to hear about your dad. That really really blows. I thought I would send along some pretty healthy recipes that might work well with his dietary restrictions and that I personally love ( ... )

saltless soup is =(. but i mean, i guess we really should learn to live a little less excessively. i'm sure your mom is already all over it, but old habits die hard, and my mom is a stubborn woman. we had fish the other day, and she kept insisting that she didn't use any oil, and yet, there was a distinct layer of oil floating atop the sauce. we'll get there, i'm sure, but it's definitely gonna be work.

thanks for the recipes; maybe i should try my hand at making some of these. xi fan is great, except for the fact that neither of them is really supposed to be eating very much white rice either. man, getting old sucks. =(

hey you!

good job in helping me procrastinate from working on my group presentation due on tuesday (that i totally haven't done any work on yet...) XD

ah! life!!! yay that you posted an entry! i am happy to read it (and get stalking points) on you!

so much going on the past few months... sometimes it feels like everything... but nothing right? but... you did it! *Gives balloon*

so that means you have to hanq with pheter and me once you realize how awesome we are (since you think we're both uncool)

for recipes... maybe try a vegetarian/vegan diet? i know it's kind of hard to change habits... but slowly - one dish at a time!

i've been trying recipes from this website http://www.asianfood-recipes.com/Asian_Vegetarian/Asian_Vegetarian_Recipes.php

Holy crap this is a huge entry! It almost makes up for you never posting on the regular. ALMOST. But NOT. SO KEEP POSTING.

This was really awesome to read even with all the ups and downs. Super yay for submitting your portfolio and really having something to be proud of. I definitely understand that being proud of something that comes easy doesn't .really work. And how awesome to have your proud achievement be something tangible and real!

Really really sorry to hear about your dad. I hope the therapy works for him. We also had to cut out salt for my grandma and it really sucked, but my sister came up with trying Mrs. Dash to try and add flavor to stuff. Also, are your parents open to alternative therapies? I don't really like peddling family business to friends, especially with regards to something so sensitive, but if it's something you're willing to consider, let me know.

It sounds like we're all in need of a big celebration!
