Phoenix Comicon 2010: CON REPORT

Wooooo~ This past weekend was the 2010 Phoenix Comicon, and despite a lot of stress, chaos, and animosity towards Matt the con director, I did have a lot of fun spending time with my friends. :3

Oh wow, it sounds like you had a busy Sunday, too. I feel bad you did so much for me this weekend with my wigs and pinning things. It was such a big help. I hope you know to just say the word if there's anything I can ever help YOU with. I know you've pretty much got your bases covered, but I certainly owe you a favor or two.

I'm glad to hear that your overall impression was a good one despite everything. Cons are always stressful for lots of reasons, but I like to take away the good memories, and I think we had a lot of those. <3 I'm surprised you don't have pictures of your outfits from the J-fashion show! I thought they were really awesome.

Oh, and on a lighter note, those are some beautiful faces in this collection of photos you have here. XD I do especially like meiye's face in that one you took in the green room and then the.... what was it..."victory photobomb"? Very nice.

Don't feel bad! I did it willingly. If I hadn't had wanted to do it I would have made up some really bad excuse not to. XD; lol, I think that wig styling and stuff is like the only way I can pay people back for doing things. Since you and Emma drive me around a lot I feel like helping out with cosplay stuff is a good way to repay the favor. It's not hard for me to style wigs at all, and I enjoy doing it... to an extent anyway. XD;

Yesss~ lots of good memories always beat the stress. :3
lol, I've only seen like two pictures of the outfits. This one well-known local photographer was taking pictures at the show though, so as soon as he updates his Flickr, I'll be snagging some. XD

Ehhh.. it's not like we really missed anything super important or anything. Ans hey.. bagels and luna bars are better than no food at all! lol, I also think that if I had not been staying with you that we wouldn't have seen much of each other at the con. XD;

Well I think it's safe to say that we kicked that masquerade's ass. It would be fun to do it again.. maybe at a convention with better judging.

Pfft. You don't owe me anything. Also, as tasty as cheesecake is and as much as I love it, my diet needs improvement and eating that is not exactly the way to do so.

Well I have class from 11:20am until 1:20pm, but I know I'm probably going to have homework. Tonight's homework was to read chapters 1-6 (roughly 150 pages) and write a 2-3 page essay. Plus we have a test on Monday covering the information. FML. D:

Saboten advertisements were handed out over the weekend. XD The con is October 1-3 at the Hilton Squaw Peak Resort. Anime Boston would be really fun... too bad it would cost a ton of money that I don't have to go to it. D:

Oh, and I left a long list of complaints on the PCC feedback board about the masquerade and the convention in general.. several other people did as well. About half of the complaints on there are about the masquerade, lol.

well sorry to annoy you I was looking up on Google D Gray Man meet up 2010 comicon, and It took me awhile to find it =w=, but alas I found it now I can photoshop the images into a collage and have fun!
