I really enjoyed it. It's always amazing to me how all of the Nations look so young (even the ones who claim to have a physical age of 26) when...they're not. I liked how Japan's weariness seemed to come through, and just how cynical he sounded.

Aha, Singapore history's the only thing I know really well (that, and the rise/fall of Venice), so I had a lot of things I wanted to write XD
Maan, Even Greece is what, 27? He looks like he's in his early twenties!
Thanks again, I'm really happy to know that it came through 8D He's been through a lot, after all...

Seriously! The only ones who look like their "actual" age, are the ones whose "actual" ages are the late teens/early twenties xD
Though, Cuba and Turkey do seem like they probably look their age...but they're the only ones. Greece and France really don't look like they're in their mid-to-late-20's xD
He's been through a lot, after all...
They all have. That's why the fact they look so young is amazing...I'd imagine them all supposed to be looking 40, but instead looking haggard and much, much older. Ah well. Must be nice having found the secret to eternal youth. (Though, grandpa Rome in the chibitalia strips is a bit of an anomaly).

Hm yes, Turkey and Cuba do seem rather fitting of their age.
And France has the secret to eternal youth! 8D A lot of sex.
Well, if you think about it from another angle, that the Nations are not only personifications of their country, but their people, it kind of makes sense? That there are always young people, and... Yeah? P:
Haha, Hetalia is full of contradictions and anomalies! Which is totally what makes it so fun :D

You really brought out Japan. The whole thing was great because the characters were spot-on consistently. I could really imagine every little bit. The imagery is fantastic.
... I really like Singapore. /wants a profile so I can draw a pretty picture.
I like how Japan/you talked/wrote about age, too. It's true, all the Nations look very young ... Greece is 27 !? Y-you whut? When did that happen?!? /is very suprised
And it has that little Tokene touch that all your fics have. It's quite calm, in my opinion, despite the violence, and it's pretty, and it's heartfelt.
SO BASICALLY I LOVE IT WRITE MOAR NAOOOO

I hold you responsible if my ego inflates too much, okay! D<
HAHA OKAY. YAY, ANOTHER WILLING ARTIST.
I'll probably draw up her profile in my spare time this and next week, between study sessions :3 I'm thinking of naming her Adeline. Apparently, its a very common name in Singapore...
Yep! Greece-san is 27~ I checked on the simple-character-introduction thingie thingie. Japan's age is listed as "unknown" lolol.
And it has that little Tokene touch that all your fics have.
/flattered meter goes up 100%!
:'DD -hugs again-
Thank you. Really. And its not just for lavishing praise on me.
NOT NOW BUT MAYBE SOON, YES?

Adeline. Pretty name.
27 is a lot older than I expected. BUT OMG YAY I'VE GOT ANOTHER TEN YEARS OF CRUSHING ON APH CHARACTERS BEFORE IT GETS CREEPY 8DD
Hee hee ~
YAY.

I like how you made Japan sound a little unhinged (maybe he went a bit bloodlust crazy in WWII? it would explain a lot!) and the piece flowed really well.
Nice work!

I'm so glad to hear that you think so! This is only the second time I've really written for Japan, so I was worried about his portrayal.
The thoughts (they're Kiku's thoughts, as you might have known) were interesting to play with, and I thought parentheses would make them work best, I'm happy to know it worked for you.
Thank you! :D
