A novel! Awesome! Someday I will be able to say "I knew her when..." :)
He was not supposed to be an incredibly noble, dedicated man who plays it straight with her at almost every angle. He was not supposed to have a wicked sense of humor, nor was he supposed ot be such an apalling tease! I find myself writing him doing things that I wasn't even considering and suddenly they're done. I'm utterly appaled by the man's behavior at times. I'm even more shocked by the fact that she's letting him get away with it. He vascilates between adorably tender and sweet and an utter jerk, and I can't wrap my head around the fact that I'm writing him.
You've got a muse! Now that's good news of the best kind. Doesn't matter if he won't talk to you...sometimes the character doesn't care as much about you as about the story he/she is in, so they don't waste time talking to you, they just go off and do what they have to do, like rewriting their motivations. :) He sounds fantastic...I hope I get to meet him someday. What's his name, are you
