Chapter 2 Chapter 3
“Can you believe it?! We have our own concert!” The young Chinen Yuri bounced animatedly around the room with exclamations of excitement, “And it the Tokyo Dome too!”
The other members in the room laughed as they watched him flit from one member to the next until he landed himself in Daiki’s lap only to tell the older member the same thing he’d been shouting the last ten minuets, “Did you hear Dai-chan!? We have a concert, just for us!”
Daiki gave him a confused look, “Concert? Ours? Really?!” He feigned shock as he continued playing along, “This can’t be true! And in the Tokyo Dome no less! Where did you hear this?!”
Chinen smacked him on the shoulder and gave a small giggle, “In the same meeting you sat in 20 minuets ago!”
Ryutaro rolled his eyes, “Well then why are you still telling us this? We already know as much as you do.”
The childish member crosses his arms and stuck his tongue out at the younger boy, “Ryutaro’s no fun!”
Daiki merely laughed and continued his conversation with Inoo sitting next to him but jumped as he heard a loud crashing noise on the other side of the room. His gaze shot over to the left side of the room as he saw a wincing Keito on the floor and a furious Hikaru standing over him menacingly. “Watch where you’re going, these are new pants!” Daiki looked down and saw a wet stain on Hikaru’s tan pants and an empty juice bottle rolling on the floor.
“I’m sorry…I tripped.” Keito replied meekly from his position on the floor, “I’ll buy you new ones.”
Hikaru threw him a nasty glare, “That’s not the point you stupid-“
“Hikaru!” Everyone’s eyes flitted over to Yabu on the other side of the room, “Give it a rest, he said he was sorry.” Standing up he stomped his way over to Hikaru, just a hairs width away, “And if I didn’t know any better, you tripped him too I bet!”
Hikaru’s face contorted with rage, “What?! I-“
“I don’t wanna hear it! I’m so sick of you and your issues. Ya-ya-yah is over! Get over it or get out! It was hard for all of us; have you even considered how Shoon or Taiyo feel yet? I thought Taiyo was your best friend, have you even tried talking to him yet? NO! All you do is take your stupid anger out on people who have nothing to do with it!” Yabu’s voice had gotten quieter but he still had an air of authority about him and finished with a low hiss, “Grow up already.”
Hikaru didn’t say anything as he threw one last glare at Keito and stomped towards the door, only to open it and see a teary eyed, pathetic looking Taiyo on the other side. His eyes softened instantly as he eyed his sad looking friend, “Taiyo, you didn’t…”
“Yeah,” Taiyo sniffed, “I heard. But I came to tell you something, and now I can’t.” He made to turn around and leave but Hikaru stopped him.
“What is it?” Worry now evident in his voice. Taiyo gestured behind Hikaru; the still angry or worried faces of the rest of JUMP looked back at him still. His own anger bubbled up and he pushed Taiyo out into the hallway and closed the door behind the two of them. “Okay, let’s just walk and talk then.” He offered as he regarded the small tear that had escaped Taiyo’s eye.
Taiyo nodded and started off down the hallway. It didn’t take but three seconds for him to blurt it out, “I’m leaving Johnny’s.”
“Oh…” Hikaru paused wide eyed, “wait, what?!”
Taiyo wouldn’t look at him, “I’m leaving. I quit. I don’t want to do this anymore.”
“What?! Why?!” Hikaru’s eyes looked hysterical, “You can’t do this to me! What about-“
Taiyo stopped him with his hand, “Hikaru, what about me? What about what I want?” Hikaru gave him the most pitiful look, but he continued, “I just don’t want to do this anymore. Being with you, Shoon and Yabu was really the only thing that had kept me here. There’s really no point for me to continue.”
“So it’s my fault? Me and Yabu, for leaving?” Hikaru couldn’t help the small crack in his voice.
Taiyo shook his head, “No, it’s not anyone’s fault. I’ve decided to focus on school now. You’re just destined for greater things than me.”

As Hikaru and Taiyo had left the room the rest of JUMP had remained silent. Yabu continued to glare at the door. What was his problem? Sure he was upset, but it had been over a month since they’d become Hey! Say! JUMP; shouldn’t Hikaru have moved on by now? He was just being childish now.
On the other hand, Keito watched the door with wide eyed worry. Would Hikaru be alright? Taiyo looked like the news he came to tell wasn’t good news. After his fight with Yabu, he would defiantly be as fragile as ever. What would happen to him if the news really was bad?
“Are you alright Keito?” Keito looked up to see Yabu extending his hand to help him off the floor, “That was uncalled for, he got what he deserved.” The sudden kindness in Yabu’s eyes threw him off, wasn’t he angry? Keito shook off the thought as he stood up on his own.
“I’m fine, but…” he said glancing at the floor he saw the empty juice bottle by his feet, “I’m going to go get more juice.” He quickly picked it up and went for the door, “I’ll be right back.”
As he closed the door he immediately heard it, the sound of crying not far down the hallway. Quietly he approached and peeked around the corner to see Hikaru huddled with his knees to his chest. He couldn’t see his face while it was buried in his hands, but he saw the tears leaking through his fingers. Then he heard it; the small almost non-existent words Hikaru seemed to be mumbling.
“Why all of a sudden? What am I doing? They all hate me. I’m so stupid…” The same pattern over and over again until Keito heard his name, “Keito must hate me now…I’m so terrible…terrible person…”
Tears welled up in Keito’s eyes to see Hikaru like that. He had been right, Hikaru was broken. He didn’t think he could be of any help, but the younger member couldn’t hold back and approached Hikaru. Kneeling down, he took Hikaru in his arms, “I don’t hate you. I could never hate you.”
Authors Note: Sorry it took so long!
