TMGS2 Ending 3 Troubles

Alright. I'm on my way to getting 100% in TMGS2 for the DS. The only endings I'm missing are Chris' Ending 3, Best Friend Confession Ending, and Best Friend Ending. Right now, I'm trying to get Ending 3, and I don't know why it's not working. I can't give you any advice on ending 3, since it seems you've gone through all the steps ... but your last paragraph I can give you an answer to. Any guy at :D or ^_^ state will call you to go out on dates, regardless of who is on your save icon.

Unless you made them your best friend, of course.

That's strange, though. I know in TMGS3, anyone can ask the heroine out on dates when they are above :D, but not in TMGS2. I find that only one person (except Masaki and Wakaouji) can ask her out if this person is on the save icon. For Masaki and Wakaouji, they can ask you out regardless of who is on the save icon.

I've gone through getting Ending 3 multiple times, and when juggling guys, only one guy asks her out and I have to ask the second one out.

And yes, if I make him my best friend, he will be stuck at friendly, and will never ask her out (except Masaki and Wakaouji).

Ah, this is troubling. I may have to start a new file to just get Chris' Ending 3 again. Thanks for trying to help. :)

I've had Chris and Amachi ask me out in a playthrough when I was juggling between Hikami and Wakaouji (aiming for Wakaouji's BF confession), and neither Chris nor Amachi were in my save icon. They just reached :D and began asking me out.

hi... currently i'm looking for saeki's 3rd ending.. My question is must i get saeki's christmas 3rd year CG in order to get his 3rd ending? Or is it okay get the christas CG with amachi (my other guy with tokimeki state).. Need help ASAP.. Thanks

Yes, it's alright to see Amachi's Christmas event CG when trying to get Saeki's 3rd ending. You do have to have Amachi at a higher affection than Saeki to be able to get Saeki's 3rd ending, so making sure you get Amachi's Christmas CG proves that he has higher affection.
