I saw the White Stripes tonight.

They were, seriously, one of the best live acts I've ever witnessed. Jack White completely commands the stage, no matter what he is playing (and he played many things, ranging from an assortment of guitars to an assortment of pianos and keyboards to a marimba).

They were alright in Moscow, but we (in the VIP zone, no less) were so far away and seperated by plexiglass & etc. that it sucked except for the free beer.

Fortunately, I still drank beer at that time, so it was good for that at least. I would have really liked to see them in a good venue, but what are you gonna do?

in my high and mighty opinion, their latest one is the best

jack white is just a genius period as his songs on the cold mountain soundtrack are amazing
