[Life] Oh boi!

  • I finished Pride and Prejudice a couple of days ago. I don't despise it as much as I did at the beginning. Granted, I'm not in love with it, but the ending bits were probably the best. When Lydia married Wickham I laughed. When they visited Longbourn though, I cringed. Can someone say painfully tacky? Anyway, it was alright, but I became bored with ( Read more... )

I've never actually read Pride and Prejudice...but I've heard that it's boring from several people. xD

-Getting a job sounds like a good idea on my part, too.

Yeah, sadly I heard the opposite from everyone so I ended up picking it to read for my literature assignment this semester. Now I kind of wished I would have choosen something else. Oh well...

-Just to day I headed down to the game/movie store I've been wanting to work at and they were telling me that the next person they were going to higher would be a chick. Buuut, as luck would have it, you have to be 18 to at least work in the game department. The biggest bummer ever! lol However I might look into working in the movie rental department.

-Well it depends on which gaming console you have. I have a Xbox 360 and I happen to play a lot of action, first-person shooter and horror videogames. Sooo...if you're into those types of games then yeah, I could recommend more than you could probably afford in a month's time. 8D

-Thank you and I hope everything works out as well. It's always hard to deal with something as negative as this.

Well, that sucks. D8 Good luck doing...well, whatever you have to do for your literature assignment. It sounds like you'll end up hating the book if there's too much to do that concerns it.

-Damn! Working at a game/movie store would have been awesome! (I wonder if the same age restriction would apply where I live...) Good luck getting a job in the movie rental department, though. Hopefully, that'll work out.

-I have a PS2, and I like action, sci-fi/fantasy games, and the like. Basically, f it has plot and can suck me into the story, then it's all good. I'm just really desperate to start playing again, and if I'm going to go into digital art and animation, I definitely need to start consciously paying more attention to how things are animated, how controls affect gameplay, etc.
Lol, I only have twenty dollars, so whatever you recommend will probably be more than I can afford. xD But I'll find a way around that.

-You're welcome, and if you ever need to talk, you know where to find me. <3

-I hope so too. But the game store is connected to the movie rental department so I wouldn't be completely stripped of working with people and games.

-Oh man...well I know a lot of old videogames for the PS2 like Dynasty Warriors, the Final Fantasy series, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Kinetica (one of my favorites but it's a racing game) and a lot of others. I'd have to really think hard on that to figure out some more.

-You're going into digital art and animation? Cool, I'm going into a similar field. I'll be doing visual development (concept art) and computer science/programming. I purposively pay attention to games and their art, so I can understand what you mean.

-You're seriously the best! <333
