So, yesterday, I walked around the gallery and took notes for the Art Dept supervisor who called in. I typed up my notes and figured that would be the end of things until I came in today, so I could see if she had any questions. Turns out, I saw her on the way up to the Dev Dept (as it was a Dev Dept kind of day). She complimented me, saying

Apparently .... from what I've gleaned from someone today. It also appears (from the same source) that my resume has been passed on to a couple of people, but I seriously doubt that the Exec is one of them.

Sounds like Exec is one to stay away from whenever possible. Can't stand people like that. Weird control issue, or something.

I am honestly confused by the behaviour I witnessed. She doesn't seem to have control issues. I'm leaning toward the idea that she usually runs a brisk Staff Meeting, but has been under greater pressure because of this latest exhibition. It's supposed to be the one that shows this organization is world class .... or something like that. Of course, that doesn't mean that I'll be sticking my neck out too far looking for things to keep me occupied.
