People are insular. There's no two ways about it. What do I mean? I have asked several people from the Live Journal community if they ever look at my blog on Blogger-which is the primary blog I post to-and they almost invariably say "no." When I ask why, they say something about how they only need their "friends" page, anyone not on said page is

When you go to post to your own journal, you think to look at your "friend's page" and this is how a lot of people remember to check these mash-ups out. With completely different blogging sites that use a completely different system, despite their being super compatible and friendly, their mash-ups aren't going to be thought of by the blogger. I care about your blog, and what you write.
