3. I clicked the links, passed the interim page and now I'm waiting to be re-directed to the download page but the page doesn't load, what do I do?
This is a common occurrence with file hosts, expecially with Mediafire. The possible causes: excessive web traffic to the hosting site and downtimes caused by website maintenance. If the web page doesn't load at all and your browser sends you a "page cannot be found" or similar message than it's possible that one of the above has occurred. Please try to access the file at a later time. Also, ensure your internet browser has the latest versions of Adobe Flash and Javascript installed/enabled before accessing links.

4. I clicked the links and have reached the host's website but it has a "File not found/deleted" message, what do I do?
This is an indication that the file has not been accessed for a certain period of time and has been removed. Please PM Tokyo Jam about this. Depending on the material, TJ may or not be able to find another link to it.

5. I downloaded a file but it's corrupted and I can't extract it's contents (or only some of it), what's happening?
This is the most common question that users ask and 90% of the time it has nothing to do with the file itself. Often, it's got to do with a connection problem (from the file host or your own internet connection) during the download process from the file host to your computer. There may have been some sort of interruption during the transfer and as a result, the file is damaged.

In this situation, please re-download the entire file (try again at a later/different time) and try to extract again. It is also recommended that you check your internet connection to ensure that you're able to connect to the file host's website smoothly. Also, ensure you have the latest version Winzip/WinRAR extraction software installed to ensure proper extraction of files.

If you have re-downloaded the file 2-3 times and still experience the same problem as outlined above then please PM Tokyo Jam.

6. Can I please have {magazine} uploaded on another file host (mirror)?
Due to certain reasons TJ will not be able to source any files from a specific host other than the ones provided. It's strongly advised that all mirrors be requested on the jmagazinescans LJ community.

7. When will {magazine issue} be available?
Links to specific issues are posted when they're made available on the WWW by third party sites such as Hudie.com. TJ cannot guarantee the availability of any particular material. The best advice is to stay up to date with the updates on the jmagazinescans LJ community as there are other users that regularly post new and unique material.

8. Can I please request {magazine issue}?
It is best to post all request posts on the jmagazinescans LJ community as there are more members there that are readily available to help you with your request. Please ensure that your request post(s) meet the guidelines of the community before posting.

9. Can I please have {page} from {magazine} in bigger size/quality/other format?
Please understand that Tokyo Jam only finds and posts links to files and is not involved in any of the production process of the files, therefore, TJ cannot offer any material in any specific formats.

10. Can I please upload/share {page} from {magazine} on my site?
Please understand that Tokyo Jam (tokyo-jam.livejournal.com) does not own or claim any right of ownership over any of the material that is listed or linked on this journal. Everything that is listed/linked is copyrighted to their respective owners and publishers, therefore, Tokyo Jam cannot give OR reject permission for the sharing/uploading of any of the material on other third party sites, nor can it be responsible for any consequence or damage caused as a result of such action.

11. Where can I purchase a physical copy of a magazine/reading material?

Please support the original publishers by purchasing their material!!

A plethora of Japanese magazines can be found by searching the title of the magazines on search engines such as Google. Online shops such as Amazon Japan, CDJapan and YesAsia readily stock Japanese magazines and ship internationally, however, prices are often significantly higher than RRP when including costs such as shipping and transaction fees. New and old magazines can be brought and traded on eBay or on selected Livejournal communities. The best advice is to shop around.
※ Some magazine titles listed on Tokyo Jam are in Japanese and were translated into English therefore you may not  find any results for magazines by searching the exact titles listed here. Please PM and TJ will try to help retrieve the original title(s) for you.

12. What is the resolution of the scans?
Generally, the resolution (width x height) ranges from 750x1000 to 1400x1900.

13. Why don't you reply when I PM (private message) you?
TJ strives to answer all messages in a timely manner, but due to time constraints and other reasons this may not always be possible. In many cases, users don't receive replies from TJ because they have set strict privacy options (eg. friends only) for messaging in Live Journal. Please check & adjust your account privacy settings to ensure that you can receive private messages from TJ.

14. What do I do if I have a question that wasn't answered on this page?
Please PM your question to Tokyo Jam.
