I got Mysterious Affair at Styles two days ago for my Kindle (from Gutenberg Project) and have been reading it on and off since then.
Now in bed, I have my laptop, my iPhone and my iPod. I have a few movies and about 10 episodes of several series I could be watching. Or games I could be playing. Music I could be humming to.

Last February when I went to London for Frankenstein, I spotted this dress at Ted Baker. I passed it by on the hanger, noted to my sister that it was very pretty, and moved on.
And then BANG!

Today I sat down with the laptop and the telephone and decided to track down (to the last consequences) my two packages bought online who had been missing in action.
An example as comparison: I ordered a kindle from Amazon international (USA) on the 15th and had it in my hands on the 20th. There was even a weekend in between.

I’ve been thinking of buying a kindle for a while now. I do read a lot on the computer and now with the iPhone, a whole lot more. But the iPhone is pathetically small for reading and if I want to read somebody’s latest chapter on AO3, I don’t really need to lug my laptop, small though it may be, around all the time.

Of course it is very exciting to finally get some longer glimpses of Martin Freeman as Bilbo, but what really wowed me was the complexity of everything in this film. -

I'm a fan of Chris Pine and followed the filming of This Means War with Tom Hardy and Reese Witherspoon, with amusement. A rom-com with Reese Witherspoon? Probably lots of fun, but not something I was looking forward to.
