i really like these, what program did you use? also, it would be really nice if you could tell me some of your techniques.
i have photoshop CS so you may relate to that

I used & for these but i just got cs so it shouldnt be hard to do the same thing.
I usually select a maybe 300x300 square of the image, copy, then create a new 300x300 image paste, and go to Image>>Image Size, and size it down to 100x100.
For most fo these i took a light texture from fightstarr and layred it on with the blending mode lighten.
