A/N: Just some random thing I wrote for damagea ages ago, when she asked me to write something about these two and sent me a picture of two fluffy keychain animals.

Tamamori looked at the tiny white thing that Nikaido had pushed into his hands.
“Uh… What is this?”
“It’s a cell phone mascot,” Nikaido said shortly which didn’t really help much. Tamamori sure knew what it was.
“My sister gave it to me and I don’t need it,” Nikaido continued with a shrug but Tamamori quickly noticed his seeming ignorance was rather faked.
“What makes you think that I do?” Tamamori asked just for the hell of it and Nikaido shrugged again.
“It looks like the pig-rabbit thing you had last summer.”
“Oh. Okay,” Tamamori said and raised his eyebrows but he didn’t press Nikaido any more since the man clearly didn’t want to talk about the matter more. Instead, he searched his keys from his bag and attached the fluffy mascot into the key ring.
“What are you laughing at?” Nikaido asked later when their eyes met and he noticed the wide smile that Tamamori really wasn’t able to hide.
“Nothing, I’m just on a good mood,” Tamamori answered. Nikaido snorted and continued packing his things into his bag. Tamamori looked at the man’s back, still smiling. His self-protecting instinct said it was better to say nothing even after having accidentally seen a light pink fluffy mascot - identical to his white one - attached to Nikaido’s keychain.
