I'm not sure epiphanies are exactly what we think they are. Whenever I've had some great insight, it's never just come once - the lesson repeats itself, even when I think I've already got it, it may just keep repeating until I actually understand. Well, I chopped off 12 inches of my hair yesterday. Since we'll be donating it to the Cancer Society, or something similar, they sawed through an impromptu ponytail. It looked so lonely, when the hairdresser put it down.

Spent the hour driving home reading the first 42 pages of Gaiman's Neverwhere to my parents. Much fun. Introduced my mum to his poetry after, and surprised the heck out of my father, who'd only ever read the first Sandman, and found he liked this much, much better.
