i'm going to be starting anti-anxiety/depression medication soon and i'm afraid i'm going to end up completely numb. i also have the same fears you have, that it's not really my personality if i'm taking medication. any tips for being on them?

Do your best not to worry, but take notice if your mood starts to change for the worse -such as suicidal thoughts, major mood swings, etc. Usually anti depressants and anxiety medications take some fiddling to get the right amount and medication. Just be patient. Lexapro works fantastically well with me, especially combined with mood stabilizers (for being bipolar). For some people, Lexapro doesn't work as well but they are more responsive to Prozac. Etc etc ( ... )
