What the film UNCERTAINTY is about:
- attractive youngsters hugging, snuggling, and generally being the poster children for the INPDAEAA - Incessant, Nonstop Public Displays of Affection Enthusiast Association of America
- The colors yellow and green.
- Ethnic ambiguity
- Murmured conversations in kitchens that have to do with either olive oil or nothing
- Actress Lynn Collins nearly breaking her acting bone
- Giant heaping steaming gobs of obvious
- A cute woman in a sundress who, through the loving guidance of her boyfriend, learns to send an email and ALMOST jumps a turnstile...but not quite.
- Joseph Gordon Levitt doing the crinkly-face smile. This bullet is not snarky. It is drooly. I get to have at least one.
- Product Placement (ad for Pushing Daisies on the side of a moving bus WHAT?)
- The poor attitude of the NYPD...um, HELLO, attractive people in need of assistance JEEZ OMG WTF.
- Boys say the funny things. Girls say the feeling-y things. If you're lucky, ladies, occasionally you get to be wry or cute.
- You, too, can write a script that is about 20 pages, chock full of ellipses, chalk the gaps with meaningful looks and people being attractive and get that shit produced!
- Question everything. Answer nothing. Unless it means your main actress gets to cry.
- Empandas
- Sex scene!
- Did I mention JGL?
- and....uh...I guess...some uncertainty.
Okay. Maybe I went overboard. Was it worth watching? Um, there was a JGL sex scene. After I finish typing this, I'm going to watch the whole thing over again.
...and for the record, it was STILL better than Devour....looking at YOU, Jensen and Jensen's agent.
