The Sherlock Holmes of the movie surprised me -- I picked up the first volume of the stories from B&N and was surprised at how different the character was from the detective I'd grown up thinking he was. I did watch some of the BBC series -- Mom loved it. But the new movie was a surprising take that matched the WTFery that the books brought out in me. I liked it. :D

As for getting out and doing something -- I totally know the feeling, and wish you luck dispelling yours, as well. <3
