I really like the Charlaine Harris books (Southern Vampire Series-think roughly Buffy in tone but not plot). If you have not read them and decide to do so, please promise me that you will complete the first one.

Approximately the first third of the first book is badly written; it is mostly setup and I found it difficult to get through. I had promised to finish reading the first book. About half way through the book, I loved it.

Don't forget to leave the regular and paper CD cases for the Porcupine Tree CDs and stick the CDs in the half-size cases. You should take those. :D
